Where can I get set files for Grid king?
In the past, the dev suggested for $15k and above accounts, a special set file be applied. However, since several months ago, he felt that for safety, even accounts larger than $15k should just use the defaults that come with GK.

The one thing I suggest you do with GK is backtest it with tick data for as far back as you can go. The other thing is to experiment in your backtests, and potentially in forward testing in demo accounts, what happens when you allocate the 'percentage risk' for Lotsize Step under the 'Running Mode' dropdown selections.

For instance, if you run at 33% and above, (High Risk), you'll be well advised not to run all pairs, and have at least many Ks of deposit before this is safe. Otherwise, your account might blow if you hit a few hedges or global stop losses while running too high a percentage risk in Running Mode while running too low a deposit. Leverage builds up fairly quickly especially if you are running many pairs since the quote currency will be all manners of sorts. So if you are running a leverage of only 1:30; you're best not to touch this with a 10-foot pole or you'll get a margin call in no time :)

The dev recommends a certain minimum $ deposit and you'll be well advised to stick with that at the minimum!

Please also understand how the hedging and 'max loss' system works before you sink your hard earned money in this.

Many thanks @whisquer !!! In my experience you need to "restrain Grid King from its natural approach", be very very selective with your pair choices, and watch your margin like a hawk!!

Do you use Wim's set files, or do you use your own?
