Are you leaving your Grid King on during the election night?

For me, I plan to start winding down GK starting next week. I've just initiated the 'wind-down' process immediately after posting this. I currently have open trades on NZDCAD and I hope that they will close normally over the next few trading days. I know I'm super early in the cycle but I'm ok to not have trades for up to 4 trading days before and after the Nov 3 elections.

By wind-down, I mean to instruct GK to (a) not open any new trades; and (b) manage towards closure all existing trades.

In forex, not losing your hard-earned capital = winning; and not losing your hard-earned capital means you live to trade another day. Of course, some of you think that I'm crazy to start winding-down now and it must be too early; and therefore I must be leaving money on the table; but that's OK, you do you and I do me :sneaky:. Anyway I see that AUDNZD has either gone or is perilously close to taking a hedge today. But I don't trade that pair so managed to dodge a bullet there ...

This is how Wim previously explained to me regarding how to achieve the 'wind-down' in (a) and (b) above; I hope it will help at least one of you GK traders in your own way.

You must be trading a lot of pairs there Cloudia (all of Wim's 'possible' pairs in GK? :p), I've currently only got NZDCAD open and am hoping / waiting for it to close. Which other pairs do you have open, are they the ones with AUD, EUR and GBP as base currencies (I looked at Wim's signals and figured these might be the ones)

Hi @whisquer
Luckily I closed all but a GBPUSD and a USDJPY grid...but I've set a manual stop loss just in case.
And how about you, are you all closed up?

I've still got that NZDCAD open (as do my trading buddies and as does Wim based on his signal); but the H1 trend is going down and the H4 trend is currently up and dropping so here's what I think: there's an even chance for the NZDCAD to close by elections but if it doesn't I'll just have to ride this one out.

And we're here on election day :)
How's that NZDCAD grid going?
