I hear you man....my demise started in August with the trade tariff fears...a lot of pairs considered to be safe havens became a roller coaster, and Grid King was "all in" when it all happened....I could manage till around September, and then it all when crashing down :(

Same for me :(:(:( @Onion ....I started having problems in August....the volatility was just crazy, then it turned into a trend, and it just didn't stop....

....until everything crumbled in October as you say @TFK :(

I guess it is the holy grail to find an Expert Advisor than can withstand the brutality of the markets such as last year's August -> October run...:eek::eek::eek:!!!!

Was it the due to Brexit saga?

So you guys still running gridking?

In december Wim changed the risk levels downwards. Conservative is now 5% instead of 10%.

I am considering stopping it for a while until the corona virus calms down. :eek:

I said bye bye to Grid King for a while...it's a bit of a gamble with how the markets are performing at the moment.

Brexit was not as wow as it seemed it would be...these movement last year came from the trade tariffs uncertainty....
We now know what moves the markets more than elections, interest rate decisions

I am a bit stupid. Some accident happened yesterday. And my account halved. I should have listened to my own advice.
Funny thing is that I had let the EA close all the grids as a preparation for the timeout.
But then I restarted it again, after 2 days.
Still running now. But reduced the number of pairs to 1. 😜

I was stopped out. Grid King kept opening trades, two grids were in the 10+ level. Then again I was using a leverage of 1:100
Which is the max for this account.

You can use Grid King with 1:500.
There's no max that I know of.

The higher the better. But for my account (at my broker) that was the maximum.

Hi @TFK , I am seeing a lot of people getting wiped out after this weekend's opening....how are you doing?
Which pairs are you running?

Closed all my position before the weekend. And disabled the EA.
So nothing bad happened this morning. ;)
Many pairs opened with gaps. I think these are exiting times.
